The Empire State lighting up for Pride

The Empire State Building has light up for pride, ahead of the pride parade which took place in New York today (June 29). The buildings lights were lit up in the colours of the rainbow flag, and have been since Friday.

The official Empire State Building twitter account said: “Tonight, we will beam once again w/ #rainbow lights to honor @NYCPride Week. #LGBT”

The parade is believed to have attracted over 1 million people and is the largest and oldest parade in the world, having started in 1969.
